31- Japanese Whistle Ring
I'm awfully behind. Frankly, this pandemic is freaking me out, but I don't plan to talk about that now. While I was visiting my mom, I found these somewhat smashed rings in a little wooden box amongst my stuff. Today's pendant (actually made sometime last week while Luca was still in school and things still seemed relatively normal) is made from a whistle ring that says "Japan" on the side. I'll have to ask, but I think it was my dad's when he was a kid. It was smashed at some point- I vaguely remember maybe having in my pocket and sitting on it? Who knows. Anyway, I set it in silver with two tiny black onyx cabs.
